Veterans Advisory Council

The Veterans Advisory Council (VAC) was created in November 2008 to bring together faculty and staff who had an interest in assisting student veterans at Texas State as well as combine efforts and resources to better serve our students. The council became a recognized group in August 2009 under the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
 

Our Mission:
Provides advice and support for services and programs designed to facilitate the smooth transition of military veteran students to college and to promote veteran student success.
